Can a credit card be charged without a signature?
I was having problems at a club and I refused to pay my bill. I walked out without signing the bill and cancelled by credit card. The credit card company said that the card was charged anyways and they would investigate this as theft. Am i legally in the wrong for not paying after a dispute? Can they legally charge me without a signature?
Another note, the credit card was my mother’s and they didn’t ask me for a piece of i.d. to verify that the card was mine.

Are they supposed to charge without a signature, probably not (though we do online and phone charges without a signature all the time). If the credit card can verify that a signature was forged then I think the charges can be overturned.
